Provider-supervised

Medical Review Process

From the moment you submit your assessment to the day your medication arrives — every step a real Texas-licensed physician is in the loop. Never an AI. Never a rubber-stamp.

  1. 01

    Patient submits 11-step assessment

Goal, vitals (height/weight/age), location, timeline, GLP-1 experience, medication preference, health history, desired start date, contact info, and consent. Takes 2 minutes; data is encrypted end-to-end.

  2. 02

    Care coordinator triage

Within 1 hour, a LeenRx care coordinator screens the assessment for required documentation, eligibility flags, and contraindications. Borderline cases are flagged for the medical director.

  3. 03

    Provider clinical review

Within 24–48 hours, a Texas-licensed physician personally reviews the assessment against current clinical guidelines, your medical history, and your active medications. The provider can request follow-up labs or a video consultation if needed.

  4. 04

    Approval, decline, or follow-up

The provider either (a) approves a starting dose with titration schedule, (b) declines with a written clinical reason and a refund, or (c) requests additional information. You receive every decision in writing.

  5. 05

    Pharmacy fulfilment

Approved prescriptions are sent to an FDA-registered 503A/503B compounding pharmacy (SHWCare partner). Medication ships discreetly to your Texas address with cold-chain handling where required.

  6. 06

    Ongoing monitoring

Secure messaging with your provider, monthly progress check-ins, dose adjustments when warranted, and a structured maintenance plan when you reach your goal weight.

Frequently Asked

Who reviews my assessment?

A Texas-licensed physician (MD or DO) — never an AI, never a nurse practitioner unsupervised. Every prescription is personally signed by a provider with Texas Medical Board licensure.

How long does the review take?

Most reviews are completed within 24–48 hours of submission. Assessments submitted before 2 PM Central often get same-day review during weekdays.

What disqualifies someone?

Common contraindications: pregnancy or active attempt to conceive, history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, MEN-2 syndrome, severe gastroparesis, history of pancreatitis (relative contraindication), or current severe psychiatric instability. The full list is reviewed during informed consent.

Can I see the provider's name?

Yes. The reviewing provider's name, Texas Medical Board license number, and signature appear on every prescription and on your patient portal. You can also request a video consultation at no extra cost.

Can I get a second opinion?

Absolutely. If you'd like another LeenRx provider to review your case, email care@leenrx.com — we'll schedule one within 48 hours.
